I came to the Rabbinate late in life — a fourth career. Not because I was observant, but for knowledge and understanding about the grief that I carried from childhood. Studying meditations, Tanakh, and the sages taught me about staying present, which allowed me to live and process life with less angst. The challenges we all meet as we walk through our lives seem easier when we do it in community.
Meet Rabbi Sandra
Rabbi Sandra Charak has dedicated her life to sitting with people in their most vulnerable moments — not to fix or rush the grief, but to witness it, hold space for it, and help you move through it with dignity and grace.
Drawing on Jewish wisdom, the psychology of grief, and decades of pastoral experience, Sandra offers a deeply personal and spiritually grounded approach to loss — whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a life transition, or a loss of identity.
Her coaching is for people of all backgrounds. You don't need to be Jewish to work with her. You only need to be ready to begin.
